Skills are the commands that drive Signal OS. Each skill is a pre-built instruction set that runs inside your agent.

How to invoke a skill

Type the skill name with a / prefix in the Claude Code chat:

/social-start

Type the skill name with a $ prefix in the Codex chat:

$social-start

Both agents read the same skill files — the only difference is the prefix.

Skill	What it does
`/social-start`	System entry point — run this first. Loads Signal OS, detects your state, and guides you through setup.
`/social-mission`	Brand positioning interview. Writes your `NORTHSTAR.md`, which every other skill reads.
`/social-import`	Import existing X posts into your archive. Generates a voice guideline that all drafting skills use.
`/social-help`	Scans your folders, shows pipeline status, and tells you exactly what to do next. Run this any time you feel lost.
`/social-mode`	Teaches you a content framework before you start creating.

For when you did something onchain and want to document it.

/social-doc → /social-result → /social-reflect

`/social-doc`	Document something you did onchain.
`/social-result`	Record what happened after — metrics, outcomes, learnings.
`/social-reflect`	Turn the result into a tweet or article.

For when you have a take, a story, or an idea to develop.

/social-idea → /social-outline → [write in Obsidian] → /social-review → /social-cta → /social-publish → /social-tweets

`/social-title`	Generate 30 title variations for an article.
`/social-review`	Review a draft against the URRRCS quality framework.
`/social-cta`	Generate pre and post-publish CTAs.
`/social-publish`	Deploy to blog and get HTML formatted for all platforms.
`/social-tweets`	Generate companion tweets for an article.

`/typefully-api-install`	Connect Typefully for direct scheduling to X, Threads, BlueSky, and LinkedIn.
`/typefully-schedule`	Schedule a piece of content to the next free slot in your Typefully queue.
